Capital Campaign - Stage 1: The Property

As you know, we are a different kind of church.  While we love our current, rented facility, we have a vision of more for the community.

For just a moment, imagine a church, your church, that offers not only spiritual guidance, but a place where you and the community want to gather to pray, relax and enjoy social activities that are not regularly offered by any other church.

Our vision is a church property that welcomes the community with outdoor and indoor activities.  We are currently contemplating a 14 acre river front property.  Why riverfront? We want to offer our congregation and the community a place they will enjoy.   A church that offers not only spiritual guidance and the word of God, but also offers a boat ramp, picnic pavilion, celebration grounds for parties, a spiritually mindful nature walk and a river boardwalk.

Capital Campaign - The Benefits

For centuries churches of all denominations have generously fed spiritual needs, fed and clothed communities, and delivered the Word to far corners of the world.  While we do these things too, we envision a church that gives more.  A "destination church" if you will.  Feed your soul with our Sunday sermon, and then enjoy kayaking or paddle boarding on the river.

We know this vision will have many benefits for the community.  Imagine telling your friends that you're going to church on a Tuesday afternoon to relax and enjoy a spiritually mindful nature walk.  Or perhaps you simply want to sit on the Riverwalk to contemplate His word.  We want to offer those options and more to the community.  A church that people from all generations will want to be a part of.

Capital Campaign - The Costs

Yes, riverfront property can be costly.  We feel the benefits to the community will certainly be worth it.

The property we are contemplating is offered for sale at $2,000,000

Considering church buildings and properties that do not have the potential of this property are selling for $1,500,000 to $7,900,000 we feel this property has more value than those currently for sale.

Funds donated in excess of need will help us continue to serve  our communities throughout the year. A Warriors Mission, Inc. is a trusted 501 (c)(3) tax exempt organization. Gifts to A Warriors Mission are tax deductible to the extent provided by law.  You can be assured that we will take all reasonable measures to honor requests by the donor, but please know we retain all control and authority over all contributed funds and have the authority to redistribute those donated funds in connection with our charitable and religious purposes.  This authority allows us to maintain our 501(c)(3) status. IRS rules require that the fair market value of any gift received in connection with a donation must be subtracted from the amount claimed for deduction.
